Hook types

01 · THE FRAMEWORK
Opens with a direct behavioral command ('Stop doing X') that creates immediate contrast. Middle delivers a live demonstration , speaker records a mock video message in real time, making the tactic tangible rather than abstract. Close restates the core rule in one sentence and exits with a hard stop, no padding.
02 · THE CTA PATTERN
No explicit CTA , relies on implicit follow / save signal.
03 · TRANSLATE IT FOR TRADERS
- Open with 'Stop [common behavior]' in the first 3 words to trigger a contrarian hook before the viewer can scroll
- Immediately follow the 'stop' command with a before/after contrast ('instead of X, do Y') to make the shift concrete
- Demonstrate the tactic live on camera rather than describing it , narrate a mock example in real time so viewers can copy the exact format
- Include specific personal details in the demo (name, shared location, shared topic) to show the tactic requires personalization, not a template
- Keep the demonstration under 20 seconds so it feels replicable, not overwhelming
- End with a single restatement sentence that names the mechanism ('That's how you separate yourself') , functions as a memory anchor
- Apply this pattern to Zera content: show a mock cold DM to a prop firm, a mock trade recap message to a mentor, or a mock affiliate outreach video to demonstrate relationship-building tactics traders can steal
