STEAL THIS · CROSS-NICHE PATTERN

Contrarian audience-segmentation framework separating growth content from conversion content

Hook types

contrariannegationobjection-handler

01 · THE FRAMEWORK

Opens with a negation of conventional advice to create immediate friction ('Stop doing X'). Middle introduces a binary distinction (ideal client vs. ideal follower) with a mechanistic explanation of why the common approach fails , anchored in buyer psychology (problem-aware vs. unaware). Three rapid-fire niche examples (dentist, interior designer, lawyer) each follow an identical narrow-to-broad pivot structure, making the rule feel universally applicable. Close restates the binary as a functional rule: one content type for leads, one for growth.

02 · THE CTA PATTERN

Explicit follow CTA tied directly to the content category demonstrated: 'Follow for more social media marketing education' , positions the account itself as the product of the advice given.

03 · TRANSLATE IT FOR TRADERS

- Open with 'Stop [common behavior]' in the first 3 words to trigger pattern-interrupt before any context is given. - Introduce a two-label binary (Label A vs. Label B) immediately after the hook , give each label a one-sentence functional definition, not a vague description. - Anchor the binary in a psychological mechanism (e.g., problem-awareness level, trust stage, intent signal) so it feels like a rule, not an opinion. - Run 3 parallel niche examples using identical sentence structure: '[Niche], instead of [narrow topic], make content about [broad topic]' , repetition of structure makes the rule feel proven across contexts. - Choose example niches that are visually distant from your own niche (dentist, lawyer, designer) to signal the rule is universal, not self-serving. - End the body with a one-sentence restatement that maps each label to a single business outcome ('X = leads, Y = growth') , gives the viewer a portable mental model. - Place the follow CTA after the payoff line, not before , the viewer has just received value, making compliance more likely. - For Zera application: replace 'ideal client/follower' with 'funded trader / aspiring trader' or 'buyer / discoverer' and run the same narrow-to-broad pivot using prop firm content examples.
