Audit Trail hook archetype — score-delta as on-screen reveal

Hook types

01 · THE FRAMEWORK
The viewer is shown a numeric score change (e.g. "-4 points") and the precise reason BEFORE the explanation lands. The hook is the delta + cause sentence, not the absolute number. Works because finance audiences are trained to look at deltas (P&L, drawdown, rate changes). The accompanying screen recording must show the exact audit log entry the voiceover references — no mismatched visuals.
02 · THE CTA PATTERN
Soft — 'check your own score at the link'
03 · TRANSLATE IT FOR TRADERS
- Lead with a SPECIFIC numeric move ("-4 points", "+10 points") in the first 1.5 seconds. Generic "I checked my stats" hooks underperform 4:1.
- Pair the number with a CAUSE clause in the same sentence: "...because I missed the weekly newsletter update". The cause is the curiosity hook.
- The dashboard demo MUST visually confirm the number being spoken. Mismatched audio/visual halves trust and retention.
- Score deltas land best when the trader's portrait shot shows a small physical reaction (sigh, facepalm, eyebrow raise) — NOT a big theatrical scream. Finance audiences read big reactions as scam-vibe.
