Candela — Privacy Policy

Candela (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a trading-chart analysis tool operated by Zera Creators. This policy explains what data we handle and why. For any privacy question, contact us at info@zeracreators.com.

1. What We Collect

  • Account info— if you create an account, your email address (or the identifier from Sign in with Apple / Google), used only to authenticate you.
  • Chart images you choose — when you scan a chart, the image you select or capture is sent to our servers for AI analysis. We never access your photo library; only the specific image you pick is uploaded.
  • In-app activity— your scan history / journal (bias, conviction, outcome). Most of it is stored locally on your device.
  • Diagnostic data— standard request logs (timestamp, error info) to keep the service working.

We do not collect your contacts, location, or browsing history, and we do not sell your data.

2. How Chart Images Are Processed

When you request a verdict, the chart image is sent over an encrypted connection to our backend and then to a third-party AI provider (a large-language-model vision API) solely to generate your analysis. Images are used only to produce your verdict — never for advertising, and never sold.

3. Permissions

  • Camera— only to capture a chart on screen when you choose “Take a photo”.
  • Photos / storage— only to let you pick a chart screenshot you select.

4. Affiliate Links

Candela may show prop-firm offers with outbound affiliate links. If you click through and sign up, the brand may pay us a referral commission. This does not change what data the app collects.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the app, or by emailing info@zeracreators.com. We delete account data within 30 days of a request.

6. Children

Candela is not directed at children under 16 and is intended for adult traders.

7. Not Financial Advice

Candela provides educational analysis only and is not financial, investment, or trading advice.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
